Raymond P. Gentile


Raymond Phillip Gentile received his Bachelor’s degree in Philosophy from Florida Atlantic University. Mr. Gentile attained his Juris Doctor from Nova Southeastern University, Shepard Broad Law Center and is admitted to practice law in the state of Florida. Mr. Gentile worked at the Office of the Broward County Public Defender where he gained extensive trial and litigation experience.

Prior to becoming an Attorney, Mr. Gentile worked as an experienced financial services industry professional focusing on business development, conducting market research, price forecasting, hedging strategies and utilizing risk management models and analytics for retail investors. Here, Mr. Gentile managed a book of business and built, expanded, and solidified relationships with existing clients in multiple markets and exchanges using futures contracts, options on futures, retail off-exchange forex contracts or swaps and other complex financial derivatives. Additionally, he consolidated and analyzed large pools of technical data in order to translate complex financial information into actionable insights.

After working in the financial services industry, Mr. Gentile became a litigation consultant with Robbins Geller Rudman & Dowd LLP , the nation’s largest plaintiffs’ class action firm, focusing on complex class actions, including securities, corporate governance, and consumer fraud litigation. There, he conducted comprehensive examinations of multiple lines of business & service activities including securities services, asset management, commercial and investment banking. His primary objectives were to assess issues stemming from Securities Fraud, Shareholder Derivative and Corporate Governance Litigation, which required analysis of Management and Board of Directors oversight, effectiveness of controls instituted by various financial institutions and commercial viability of risk management protocols within the sphere of regulatory compliance for SEC Litigation.
